The advertising category of New Talent 2019 was filled with wonderful mock campaigns by rising talents.
The New Talent 2019 competition offered rising talent the chance to submit their mock advertising campaigns and gain exposure to industry leaders. With the help of their professors from various esteemed schools, the entrants came up with catchy advertisements with great visuals. One of the Platinum winners, Alana Vitrian of Miami Ad School, created the “Natural Whiteness” campaign (ABOVE) for Clorox bleach. The cow’s spots are a stand-in for tough stains, and it is clear from her ad that Clorox is able to remove them with ease.
A Gold-winning campaign, “Sennheiser To Your Ears” by School of Visual Arts students Minjeong Lee & Eunseok Park, under the direction of Professor Frank Anselmo, emphasizes the fact that their headphones can seem to bring the voices of the best singers directly to your ears. Their use of photo-altering and a catchy tag line made the ad stand out among the rest.
