Carolyn Hadlock, Principal and Executive Creative Director of USA advertising agency Young & Laramore, has been featured in our Graphis Journal #363. The full-service Indiana agency has been creating innovative marketing visuals for over 30 years with clients in various fields such as beverages, home technology brands, to restaurants. Young & Laramore are consistent Gold winners in our Advertising and Design Annuals and Graphis was honored to be able to feature their award-winning work in our Journal.
Among their featured work is the Silver-Winning campaign for Trane’s heating and cooling systems (above), and the below Brizo faucet ads. Y&L helped Brizo bring artistry to the forefront with high fashion styling and photography to show that Brizo products are more than just faucets and fittings; they’re living sculptures. In her Q&A, Hadlock shares that their “unique strategy […] helped Brizo compete with category behemoth Kohler.”
She also describes how Young and Laramore first started out as a “small design boutique, with in house illustration, photography, airbrushing and lettering.” They became an advertising agency when they successfully pitched for the Steak n Shake restaurant company in the early 90’s.
While Y&L has already worked with many companies such as Delta, CAT, Angies List, Stanley Steemer, and made a name for themselves, Carolyn Hadlock shares the same dream as founders, David Young and Jeff Laramore, in making Y&L a nationally sought out agency.
