Today, we’re taking a look at some of Advertising Annual’s entries from the Big Apple! Recently, The Gate, NY submitted “Statue of Liberty” (ABOVE) to the 2020 competition. As they explained to us, “The campaign is an ode to what Big Thinkers can create when they use the resources BHP mines.” The image certainly evokes a sense of enormity and pride.
In the Advertising Annual 2019 competition, Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness submitted a video entry, “The Stuffing” (ABOVE) and won a Gold award. Their main objective was to raise awareness for the Crossroads Community soup kitchen and food pantry and they had much success in driving donations. It’s always wonderful to see how visual communication can support an important cause.
