Hal Riney (1932 – 2008)

Hal Riney

Starting his career in the mailroom of advertising firm BBDO, Hal Riney rose to become a star of the advertising industry, eventually owning his own firm, winning hundreds of awards, and contributing to the language of American pop culture with his iconic ads. He is perhaps best remembered as the creator and voice of the famous “It’s morning again in America” ad for President Ronald Reagan’s re-election campaign.

Graphis salutes his life and knows his work will be missed. There’s no better way to summarize the work of Hal Riney than the above quote by Jeff Goodby.
