Connecting with clients is supremely important for an Art Director. It’s how they bring satisfaction and peace-of-mind to their customers. From understanding their mission to unraveling their past and what they hope to be their future, an Art Director is forced to think outside the box and push past boundaries and hang-ups. It’s a stressful job, and yet one that Doug Lloyd does with unmatched ease.
Over the last 20 years, Doug Lloyd has managed  the accounts of several big name, high stakes fashion houses including Derek Lam, Victoria Beckham, Yves Saint Laurent, The Row, John Varvatos, Oscar de la Renta and countless others. His mesmerizing works include his campaign for Adidas’ 2013 Y-3 Spring/Summer Collection (ABOVE), which managed to wow his colleagues and tantalize consumers. With an eye for detail and an extreme sense of dedication to his clients, Lloyd has managed to elevate even these already eminent companies to new heights of elegance and poise.
It wouldn’t take long before Lloyd launched his own company, LLOYD&CO, where he became creative director. Here, Lloyd became the master of his own destiny, focalizing on projects that he yearned to realize. Lloyd’s work on the 2014 Bottega Veneta Fall/Winter Collection (ABOVE) was an arresting campaign that played with color and composition in a wholly energizing way. With strong colors and bold make-up and hair, Lloyd managed to create a alluring new way to look at fashion.
