Design: Eduard Cehovin, Carlo Fiore & more from Southern Europe

The Design Annual 2017 Silver Award-winning William Shakespeare poster above (left) was designed by Eduard Cehovin of design center in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Created for Ulysses Theatre, Croatia, the poster was meant to celebrate 400 years since the death of Shakespeare.

The poster beside it won a Silver Award in Design Annual 2016 and was entered by Carlo Fiore of Venti caratteruzzi in Palermo, Italy. Designed for Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, the poster plays “in italian, with the names of instruments and the shapes and form of animals.”

The branding design above is an entry to our current Design Annual 2019 competition. Submitted by Paulo Marcelo of PMDESIGN in Santa Maria da Feira, Portugal, it was created for his client Município de Santa Maria da Feira in order to rebrand Europarque, one of the main Conference Centers in Portugal, “to endow it with modernity, youth and elegance, which we consider to be crucial for a harmonious coexistence with the corporate customers who use this venue daily for their activities of brand and product activation.”
