Advertising Submission Spotlight: Shark Week

Graphis is celebrating Shark Week with some of our newest advertising submissions. Florida advertising agency PP+K submitted several Shark-related ads created for The Florida Aquarium to the 2015 advertising competition, including ‘Shark Week For Real.

Marc Rochon’s photograph to promote the Discovery Channel documentary, “Ocean of Fear,” won a Gold award in the Photography Annual 2009. The documentary told the true story of the worst shark attack in history when 900 men were left in shark-infested waters without lifeboats or food after torpedoes sunk their warship, the USS Indianapolis, in July 1945.

PP+K’s ad for The Florida Aquarium, ‘Get Within A Foot‘ received a Gold award in the 2012 Advertising Annual. The advertisement introduced the aquarium’s acquisition of six Sand Tiger Sharks to the public. The Sand Tiger Sharks would swim right up to the glass of the tank, which inspired the tag line, “Get Within A Foot of A Sand Tiger Shark Without Losing One.”
