Advertising: Gold-winning work by Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide and New Entry by Intermark Group

As we approach the deadline for the Advertising Annual 2020 competition, we’re looking back at a particularly bright Gold-winning ad campaign, “As MS progresses, how soon will the next connection be lost?” (ABOVE) by Ogilvy CommonHealth Worldwide. Here the electrical signals found in the brain are represented by a series of hanging lightbulbs. The visual helps viewers understand how the disease MS progresses.

A new film entry recently came in from Intermark Group called Dr. Acula (ABOVE). They offered their approach: “Navigating retirement can seem like a nightmare. This campaign portrays retirement coverage anxiety in humorous “fever dreams” which are resolved by reassuring Physicians Mutual is there to listen and find the coverage you need.” The film is quite memorable with its wit and direct messaging.
