Graphis Exhibitions: Graphis Recently Held It’s Inaugural Exhibition Program in Atlanta with Resounding Success

Partnering with AIGA Atlanta, Graphis’ newly launched Exhibitions program went off with a bang this last month

For the last 75 years, Graphis has been dedicated to preserving and showcasing the very best in Design, Photography, Advertising, and Art/Illustration. Having published the very best of these disciplines for the better part of a century, Graphis has been a bastion of promoting the very best in visual imagery. But what has mainly been published in books and magazines has now transitioned to being presented in the manner that they always deserved to be seen in—an exhibition.

Held in the coveted Miami Ad School’s Portfolio Center in Atlanta, Georgia, Graphis’ inaugural Exhibition Program was a resounding success, showcasing a myriad of past-and-present award-winning works. Just a few of the myriad of artists included were AGI Members, Stephen Bundi, Paul Garbett, Mark Gowing, Melchior Imboden, Mitsuo Katsui, Pablo Martin Badosa, Armando Milani, Harry Pearce, Nancy Skolos, Astrid Stavro, and Kit Hinrichs, among others.

Presented in partnership with HP and Neehah Papers, the Graphis Exhibition in Atlanta was just a glimpse into the potential that this program has for future. Working to ensure that these artists receive the visual presentation that they so earnestly deserve, B. Martin Pedersen—owner, publisher, and creative director of Graphis—has said that he is “continuously surprised at the extraordinary creative achievements in graphic design, advertising, illustration, and photography. Graphis is here to make sure that these individuals are published and that their work will become an inspiration to both the professional and business communities.”
