FBC Design and PPK, USA are two agencies that came out on top, winning Gold, in the Advertising Annual 2020. FBC Design recreated the recognizable poster for the popular musical ‘Rent’ with the new cast of Fox’s live TV musical event. The“Rent Key Art Campaign” (above, left) appealed to new and old fans of the musical through the nostalgic look of the poster and new vibrant colors.
Another Gold winner was PPK, USA. They won with their ad, “Spring Is In The Sea”(above, right) promoting fun spring activities that the Florida Aquarium was hosting in 2019. The creative team created an image of a butterfly out of butterflyfish. The poster is dynamic and visualizes spring with an aquatic twist.
Both FBC Design and PPK, USA are consistent Gold winners from our Advertising and Design annuals.
For this year’s 2021 Advertising Annual, South Korean agency, BRAND DIRECTORS, submit a video entry titled, “Human (un)limited” (above), that was created for Hyundai Motor Group’s global art project and exhibition of the same name. The exhibition aims to showcase the evolution of humanity through art and technology. The video ad likewise emphasizes the importance of the integration of the two in order to make innovative advancements. BRAND DIRECTORS have proven their aptitude for video ads with their Advertising 2019 video entry, “Safe Exit Assist (Pissing Boy)” which won Platinum.
