Poster: Craig Frazier, Brent Couchman & more from California, US

The Gold Award-winning Poster above (left) was entered to the Poster Annual 2017 by Craig Frazier. Designed for client Fillmore Merchants Association, SF, they were asked to create an “image that expresses the energy of the jazz festival and would be collected by aficionados.” Craig Frazier has been an illustrating designer since 1978. His work is recognized internationally for its wit, optimism and simplicity.

The poster beside it (right) also won a Gold Award in Poster Annual 2017. Designed by Brent Couchman of Moniker, Inc., in San Francisco, the poster’s objective was to “create a poster to celebrate 100 years of the Coca-Cola iconic contour bottle.” Moniker is a branding and strategy studio that creates “thoughtful and timeless work for clients far and wide, big and small.”

The colorful pink and purple poster above (left) was designed by Eun Jung Bahng and won a Gold Award in Poster Annual 2018. This is a potential poster for UMF 2017 that was made in Advanced Illustration Studio class from Art Center College of Design with professor Jason Holley.
The trippy black and white poster beside it was entered into our current Poster Annual 2019 competition by Creative Director Karin Soukup and Designer David Nguyen of COLLINS in San Francisco. Created for client Exploratorium, the poster’s purpose was to “reimagine After Dark: their popular, adults-only Thursday evening event series.”

The Poster Annual 2019 competition is still open for your entries! Enter your work by Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
