Nudes5: Marc Safran & more from New York

The photograph above was shot by Marc Safran of Liverpool with a Canon 5DM2. According to him, the “plan was to photograph a former military soldier from Afghanistan in his military attire.” However, he “asked if the shoot could turn direction. The previous formal military model now showed an incredible presence in front of the camera, with classical figure posing and serene expressivity.”

The photograph of the male nude figure above was taken by Jeffrey Apoian with a Hasselblad, 50mm. He shot the image in order to create “interesting perspectives/angles along with contrast of the black body on a stark white background.” The image of the nude woman beside it is part of a series shot by Francois Robert.
