Lee Seung Min from Professor Hoon-Dong Chung’s class at Dankook University created his image “DRUGS” to comment on the dangers of drug addiction and the desperation that brings addicts to their lowest points. Another student in Chung’s class, Geon-Seop Kim, created “Discrimination” to show that all it takes is a small change of mind to drop discriminatory views and embrace equality.
Other pieces submitted from Professor Chung’s class at Dankook University include Hye-rin Mun’s piece “Delusion of SNS (Social Network Service),” which comments on the illusion of truth and honesty on social networking websites, and Ye-Young Kim’s “THE FRAGILE PEACE,” which shows a glass and a small bird that symbolize the fragility of peace.
The Graphis New Talent Competition features some of the most compelling and influential design of the year from across the world. Gold and Platinum awards, along with winning entries, will be published in the New Talent Annual 2016.
