The branding category of our Design Annual is full of innovative visuals that effectively represent a company’s ethos. One of our latest entries in Design Annual 2020 in this category comes from Carter Hales Design Lab entitled, “CDm2 Lightworks: Visual Brand Identity” (ABOVE). Their approach was quite interesting: “Combining the idea of illumination and urban environmental space, we wanted to create a new bold visual language showing how their audience engages and connects with light.” Both the brand concept and its presentation were clean and visually enticing.
Another great submission won Silver in the Design Annual 2019 competition. “Connect” by The White Room design firm played with a connect-the-dots theme to re-brand an interior design company. The bold colors and unique design drove new customers and positive feedback.
