The editorial design above won a Gold Award in Design Annual 2018. Submitted by Designers Kandace Selnick, Rachel Simanjuntak, and Maureen Panos of Creative Services in La Verne, the editorial was created for client University of La Verne to celebrate Voice Magazine’s 125th Anniversary. The poster beside it was designed Alex Patalano, Breehn Sasaki, and Thom Pastrano of Turner Duckworth: London, San Francisco & New York. Created for client Samsung Electronics, Ltd., the “posters were derived from design concepts initially developed for Samsung’s sponsorship ads at the 2016 Cannes Lions Festival, which celebrates creative excellence.” Turner Duckworth “designs iconic visual identities and packaging for consumer brands. [They] constantly strive to deliver not only world-class strategic design, but also world-class project management.”
The video above was created by Designer Mike Mazza Executive Creative Directors Lauren Millar and Jason Luster of Salesforce Brand Innovation Group. Created as a self-initiated project, the video shows how the company went about “transforming what was once a sterile lobby of travertine, limestone and glass, a 100-foot long LED screen was installed to bring a dynamic, and talked-about sensory experience to Salesforce employees, customers, and the public at large.”
