VSA and Vanderbyl have been consistent winners for their posters in the 2016 Design Annual Competition last year. Chris Marino from VSA Partners in Chicago, Illinois created “The Gene Siskel Film Center Poster Invitation,” which illustrates the depth and elegance of Morgan Freeman’s career while paying homage to the motion of film. Malin Reedijk and Michael Vanderbyl from Vanderbyl Design in San Francisco, California created “Alvimedica Poster” as a commemorative poster for the Volvo Ocean Race.

Also from California is Brad Bartlett’s Lita Albuquerque: Stellar Axis,” which was for Lita Albuquerque’s Stellar Axis, the first large-scale, ephemeral artwork created on the continent of Antarctica.
