The next is an entry in our recent Advertising Annual called “Grimaces of Oppression” by OgilvyGermany for ZMG (Newspaper Marketing Association) under Art Director Helmut Meyer, Creative Director Lothar Mueller, Chief Creative Officer Dr. Stephan Vogel, and Photographer Joachim Bacherl. Their intent was to show how political leaders corrupt their leadership by oppressing freedom of the press by simply folding an image of leaders who have taken steps toward totalitarianism.
