In 2012, Publicis Worldwide combined its two New York based agencies, the Kaplan Thaler Group and Publicis New York in order to create Publicis Kaplan Thaler, a massive advertising, marketing and rebranding agency. The merge combined all previous clients from the two agencies and gave them greater access to markets overseas as provided by Publicis Worldwide.
In turn, the merge was a huge success for Linda Kaplan Thaler, who became the chief creative officer of the agency, and for Robin Koval, who became the chief executive. Publicis Kaplan Thaler’s new set of clients includes companies such as Cartier, Champion, Hilton Worldwide, L’Oreal Paris, Nestle, Rosetta Stone and P&G.
P&G has been a client of Publicis Worldwide since 1964. The two companies have worked together to create advertising campaigns for a variety of brands. Recently Publicis Kaplan Thaler headed the Crest 3D White Strips advertising campaign for P&G. The clever results merge a commentary on the tattoo craze and some pretty powerful “whitening” strips in a piece titled “As Nature Intended”, and we’re excited that the agency submitted the account to Graphis’ Advertising Annual 2014 Competition.
The competition features the most compelling and influential advertising work of the year. Prizes consist of gold and platinum awards, with winning entries published in the Advertising Annual 2014.
Publicis New York has been a consistent winner of Graphis’ advertising annual competitions over the years. In the Advertising Annual 2013 competition, the agency won a platinum award for a different account with P&G’s Scope.
