The Gold Award-winning poster above (left) was submitted to the Poster Annual 2016 competition by Astrid Stavro and Pablo Martín of Atlas in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. Designed as part of the new visual identity for Barcelona Design Museum, the series “is based on a simple ‘connecting line’ which is the defining element of the identity. This line is based on the unique geographic location of the building and manifests itself both graphically and physically through both 2D and 3D applications.”
The poster beside it (right) won a Gold Award in Poster Annual 2018 and was designed by Pep Carrió of Madrid, Spain. Created for client Artes Gráficas Palermo, a printing press specialized in high quality art and photography books, the poster “uses books as main elements to build a dreamlike and motivating image. The lighthouse is a metaphor of knowledge that comes from books.”
The fish poster above was entered to our current Poster Annual 2019 competition by Graphis Design Master João Machado of Porto, Portugal. Designed for client Ogaki Poster Museum, the poster intends to promote the Ogaki Matsuri Festival. The green poster beside it, which recalls Mike from Disney’s Monster’s Inc., was designed by Rui Melo of Ogilvy Portugal in Lisboa. Part of a series created for Robbialac and Pantone, the design promotes Pantone’s color of the year by showing how it is unique.
