Poulin + Morris Inc. is responsible for the above environmental design, which was created for Convent of the Sacred Heart. In order to create the large murals, “the designers created graphics that promote school spirit by focusing on students and the athletic activities in which they excel. They directed photography shoots using stroboscopic visual effects to create life-size, color murals depicting some of the School’s top athletes of varying ages and grade levels, dressed in their red team uniforms, performing their areas of practice.”
Poulin + Morris, an award-winning, internationally recognized, multidisciplinary design consultancy, is led by Richard Poulin and Douglas Morris and involved in all areas of visual communications, including environmental graphics, donor recognition and wayfinding sign programs; exhibition design; branding; digital media; print media; and publication design.
Above, Creative Director Sandra Burch of Sotheby’s; Michael Freimuth of Franklyn submitted the above promotional design as a self-initiated project. The purpose was to “create a monumental promotional piece to highlight the star of Sotheby’s Contemporary Art sale: Untitled, 1982, by Jean-Michel Basquiat.
