Advertising: MullenLowe U.S., Cold Open & More from California

Our Advertising Annual has been extended! The new deadline is September 19, 2017. To provide inspiration for upcoming submissions, we are pleased to feature works from the present and past from California.

Both of the images above are submissions to our current Advertising Annual. Under the direction of Executive Creative Director Margaret Keene, Creative Directors Scott Model and Patrick Simkins, and Art Director Michael MolinaroMullenLowe U.S. / Los Angeles commissioned famed illustrator Michael Schwab, a California dweller and also a familiar face here at Graphis as a Master, to create a series of posters portraying avocados as an icon for the California Avocado Commission.
To the right of delectable avocado poster is an entry from Cold Open, created to promote the show “The Deleted,”under Art Director Gardner Defranceaux for their client Fullscreen.

 Last but not least is Platinum Winner of last year’s Advertising Annual, “The Defiants” ad was created under Art Director Sinan Dagli of Butler, Shine, Stern & Partners for their client MINI as part of their official sponsorship for the Rio Summer Olympics.
