The Typography 4: Type in Use competition is still accepting entries! Above (left) is a submission by Mattia Conconi, Natalie Rickert, Fritz Gottschalk, and Sascha Lötscher of Gottschalk+Ash Int’l in Switzerland. The poster is part of a series of five, which together spell out the word “T – Ü – R – M – E,” or towers, in front of the University of Zurich Archaeological Collection. The other typographic poster (right) was designed by Gunter Rambow of Germany for his client, Oper Frankfurt. The poster was for the opera titled “Eugen Onegin” by Peter I. Tschaikowski.
The above typographic editorial design was created by Juan Pablo Kessler of DFL Digital Sports GmbH in Germany for their client, DFl Deutsche Fußball Liga. They redesigned the magazine, which “provides exciting content and statistics about clubs, football business, fans and players,” in a way that would “represent the stories of the players by using his name and the club colours in a minimalistic and powerful way.”
Below (left) is a poster designed by Stephan Bundi of Atelier Bundi in Switzerland. The Typography3 Gold Award-winning poster was created for his client, Gutenberg Museum Freiburg. The poster beside it (right) was designed by Matthias Hofmann of Hofmann.to, and won a Platinum Award in Typography3.
There are only five days left to submit your work to the Typography4: Type in Use and Typography4: Typeface Design competitions! The deadline is Tuesday, June 6.
