Q&A: Jake + Pum Lefebure

The think tanks behind the prestigious D.C.-based Design Army, Jake and Pum Lefebure speak to their efforts to re-imagine the classic.

PumJake_DesignArmy_BWHow large a role does environmental policy play in the design and production of your work?

Some clients have to be green — thankfully the cost of 100PC sheets has become more affordable; and waterless soy-based inks are still around. Some clients have to have FSC while others do not care. It’s quite a mix at our studio, but we do try to be as green as budgets allow on every project.

How involved is the CEO in your meetings, presentations, etc.?

They are very involved and hands on, each map, painting or object is special to them. It is what they do, so they make sure we do it well!

In which direction do you see Annual Reports moving?
