Poster: Wesam Mazhar Haddad, Murat Cil & more from Western Asia

Wesam Mazhar Haddad, currently based in Brooklyn, New York and went to school in Jordan, designed the powerful poster above (left). A Platinum Award Winner in our Poster Annual 2017 competition, the message is clear: save water or someday, there will be no water left but our own tears.

A Creative Director and Graphic Designer, Haddad is a well-known social poster designer, international speaker and awards winner. He has more than 15 years of experience in several worldwide advertising agencies and companies in the region, just to name a few: SAATCHI & SAATCHI – Jordan, Momentum Grounds Morris – Jordan, M&C SAATCHI – Qatar, Commercial Bank – Qatar.
The Gold Award-winning poster to the right was submitted by Murat Çil of Turkey to raise awareness about the crucial need to save our natural resources before we run out and have nothing left. Emphasizing the link between humankind and nature, he used an authentic donkey skull as a foreboding symbol about the consequences of using up all that nature has given us.

The poster to the right was entered to the competition by Yara Bukhari of Saudi Arabia and won a Silver Award in Poster Annual 2017. Created during her time with SCAD Graphic Design Department, the poser brings social awareness to people, like Einstein, who live with Dyslexia. The poster beside it, an entry to our current Poster Annual 2019 competition, was submitted by Lahav Halevy of Blue Collar Group in Israel. Designed to draw attention to the “Me Too” movement, the poster raises awareness about the enormous number of women who have experienced sexual assault.

Consider entering your best poster designs to the Poster Annual 2019 competition! The deadline is Tuesday, January 9. The earlier you enter, the better your chances are of being featured on our website, blog, and social media platforms!
