Hoon-Dong Chung – 3D Type Exhibition
Hoon-Dong Chung’s modern, minimalist style is again redefined in his recent poster design, “3D Type Exhibition.” His newest submission to this year’s Poster Annual 2015 is part of an experimental project, ‘Unstable Unity,’ which focuses on converting 2D types into 3D imagery, expanding visualization possibilities in typography. Other Korean designers include Won-Hak Song, a Silver winner in the Poster Annual 2014, Jong-Hyeok Kim, a Gold winner in Poster Annual 2012, Ordinary People, represented in the Poster Annual 2012, and Won-Hak Song, a Silver winner in the Poster Annual 2014. Si Ra Kim was also represented in the New Talent Annual 2012, as well as Heera Kim. The typographically-minded designer Ahn Sang-Soo was featured in Issue 328, and design mentor Miho was featured in Issue 314.
