Whyte worked with Norman & Dann, a specialty retailer of handmade chocolates, fresh ground coffees and teas, cookbooks, kitchenware, crockery, utensils and condiments, for more than a decade. “Chicken Tagine” is one of a series of images that was carefully designed to highlight an aspect of N&D’s product range, Whyte told Graphis.

“The goal of this image, and others in the series, is to constantly remind and challenge the preconceptions of passers-by and existing customers of the diversity, quality and originality of N&D’s carefully selected product range,” Whyte said.

Dolly, the chicken and star of “Chicken Tagine,” belongs to a friend, Whyte told Graphis.

Whyte, a consistent Graphis award winner, received a Gold award for “Sunflower 01” in the Photography Annual 2011. To check out more work of Whyte’s work, click here.
