For the Photography Annual 2020, Canadian photographer and Graphis Master, Joseph Saraceno, wins Platinum for his work titled “Elixirs”. The fragrance is shown in a dark blue light with dynamic lighting in order to present a sultry and seductive tone.
French photographer Vincent Junier wins Platinum for his entry titled “Water Balloons”. The seven-part series features water balloons of varying shapes and colors that make use of the elasticity to create compelling photography out of an ordinary object.
Nicholas Duers from the U.S., wins Platinum for his 4-part series on luxury men’s and women’s accessories. Entitled, “2019 Accessories Q2”, each product is meant to look sophisticated to the consumer. Nicholas Duers achieves this with subtle color gradation and geometric composition.
Winning Silver is photographer Santi Rodriguez from Spain with his work entitled “Urban Art Renaissance” (above). At first glance, the image is overwhelming with the spray painted colors pulling your eyes in different directions. Rodriguez pays homage to classic still life paintings while commentating on food waste.
