Two of our latest entries to the Design Annual 2020 competition came from Minnesota, USA! Design Firm Ultra Creative recently submitted “In Bloom Brand Identity” (ABOVE) for a new restaurant that celebrates northern cuisine. Designer Jared Welle worked with Production DesignerJulie Clark to create a visual identity system in the restaurant and designed their sign, menus, coasters, social media and website. The visuals are quite stunning and offer elegance to a wonderful local organization.
Wepa USA, Inc. submitted “WEPA Sales Kit” (ABOVE) which made use of creative packaging and strong imagery to promote the napkin company. Designer Kyle Jensen also worked with Julie Clark, and they explained their approach to us: “We developed a wooden box and set of five custom die-printed sales materials that would set within the box in a neat, organized fashion. The beautiful wood box, with laser cut logo on the top, was imagined as a keepsake and way to continuously remind the retailer of the brand.” It was not surprising to hear that they quickly sold out internally, as the finished product was of such high quality.
