Design: New Entries from China by Lin Shaobin Design & BEAMY

Design Annual 2020 received some fantastic new entries from China!

The ongoing Design Annual 2020 competition has received many new entries, and today we’re taking a look at two designs from China. “Mountain Tea” (ABOVE) by Lin Shaobin Design uses the color of the packaging to evoke the strength and flavor of the tea it contains. The design is quite elegant and is on equal footing with the fine quality of the product.

Another great design is “Small Car, Big World” by BEAMY agency for their client, Shanghai Auto Museum. Design Director IV Toh and designers Yoyo Yang, Jolyn Ong, Kit Wong worked to fulfill their vision, which they described: “Taking into consideration the spatial separation and to maximize the traffic flow, we came up with a concept of a ‘Car Carnival.’ The immersive theme scenes created a wonderful carnival paradise, which ran through the entire exhibition space.”

Submit to the Design Annual 2020 competition by April 2, 2019. Winners will have the opportunity to see their work published on our website, blog, newsletter, and social media platforms!
