For the Graphis Advertising Annual 2020, U.S agency Disrupt Idea Co. won Gold for their entry “LAmicroLUX Event Posters” (above, left). They submitted three different images, each featuring a different type of watch, highlighting their functionality. Designed by Kris Ender, the posters are promotional advertisements for the LAmicroLux, an event where watch enthusiasts gather to celebrate luxury and independent watch brands. Disrupt Idea Co. also won several Silver awards for their ads including for, ETE REMAN Print Ad.
From the U.K., John Fairley of Curious Productions developed a Gold-winning pen ad, “Pilot Pens, V for Victory” (above, right) for Luxor Writing Instruments. This ad specifically highlights the Pilot Pen V series using the tagline ‘Victory’ to link the pens to success. John Fairly has been behind multiple award-winning entries in our annuals including Platinum in the Photography Annual 2019, along with Dan Humphreys who is also a photographer on this entry.
Global Brand Adidas rounds out this selection of Gold Winners with their series entry “Harden Vol. 3” (above). This series centers on the NBA star James Harden and his skills on the basketball court. The promotional material is for sportswear and accessories and is inspired by James Harden and his ability to slow down quickly. The design team experimented with photography, illustration, and more to create multiple cross-platform ideas that made this campaign stand out in the basketball apparel market.
