Our Silver Award winner Houda Bakkali has been gaining a lot of attention lately!
The Consulate General of Spain NY posted the following to their official Facebook page on November 8th:
“Houda Bakkali was awarded with the Graphis Silver Award for the Artwork ‘Beautiful African Woman.’ The Spanish artist has been bestowed with one of the most prestigious awards for illustrators. Her work presents the strength of all women, the brilliance, the solidarity and other qualities but focusing on the main personality traits of her mother. We would like to congratulate Houda Bakkali for the award.”
