Accomplished designer Stephan Bundi is internationally renowned for his poster work. Born in 1950, Bundi studied graphic design, book design, and illustration at the State Academy of Art and Design in Stuttgart. As an art director for film producers, concert promoters, museums, theatres, publishers, and PR agencies, Bundi combines unconventional ideas with practical Swiss tradition.
Bundi founded Atelier Bundi AG, a design agency that utilizes communication strategies to design, coordinate, and implement creative communication plans that deliver concepts and ideas right for the consumer.
Some of Bundi’s clients include Amnesty International, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, IBM Advertising, Nikon, the Swiss Federation of Trade Unions, Gemeinde Bern, Canton Berne, Michel Jordi, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
Over the years, Graphis has honored Stephan Bundi numerous times. Most recently, Graphis recognized the designer in the Poster Annual 2013 as both a platinum and gold winner. The platinum winning entry, “Macbeth”, was designed for the opera Giuseppe Verdi inspired by the play “Macbeth” by William Shakespeare.
