Kristofer Dan-Bergman will showcase his work at Vestry Gallery this weekend, beginning Friday, May 9. The opening reception will take place that evening on the second floor of the gallery.
On Saturday, May 10, the gallery will be open to the public from noon until 6 p.m. The show will feature photographs from ‘Away’ and ‘S_PACE,’ as well his most recent BO(a)RD.
Dan-Bergman, an award winning Swedish Photographer based in New York City, has received a lot of attention (and deservedly so) for his series of photographs titled, ‘Away.‘
Dan-Bergman’s ‘Away’ series received a Platinum award in the Photo Annual 2014 and one of the images graces the cover of the Photo Annual 2014.
On Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., jazz musician Yana Bibb will perform ‘unPlugged’ with Alessandro Fadini. Bibb will play songs from her recently released CD, “Not a Minute Too Late.”
On Sunday, May 11, the gallery will again be open from noon until 6 p.m. Later that evening, playwrights Cristina Colmena and Sari Caine will read their work.
