This Is NPR: A Look At The Last Forty Years

This is NPR

One of Design Army’s most recent projects includes the design and publication of This Is NPR, an intimate look at the news and stories over the last four decades that have shaped our world. The book was designed by Design Army in collaboration with Chronicle Books and NPR, in honor of the broadcast station’s 40-year anniversary.

This Is NPR chronicles the history of National Public Radio as told by those who were there. In 256-pages, this volume features dozens of behind-the-scenes photos, essays and original reporting by staff and correspondents, transcripts of memorable interviews, and an audio CD of six classic NPR broadcasts. With contributions from Steve Inskeep, Neal Conan, Robert Siegel, Nina Totenberg, Linda Wertheimer, Scott Simon, Melissa Block, P.J. O’Rourke, David Sedaris, Sylvia Poggioli, Paula Poundstone, and many more, this is the perfect book for any NPR supporter, fan, or devotee.
