Jill Greenberg’s Platinum award-winning Horses series
Photographer Jill Greenberg submitted her exquisite Horses series for our Photography Annual 2013 competition, for which she was awarded Platinum. In her own words:
Assignment: A photographic exploration of the physicality and, by extension, reflection of gender of the horse by Jill Greenberg. Concurrent with the release of her third and most substantial monograph by Rizzoli.
Results: The photographic collection was published by Rizzoli in 2012 as a hardcover book entitled Horses, and included an essay by A. M. Holmes. The book was reviewed on Huffington Post, Cool Hunting, Complex Art & Design, and by Los Angeles magazine.
Our Photography Annual 2014 competition features the most compelling and influential photography of the year. Prizes consist of gold and platinum awards, with winning entries published in the Photography Annual 2014.
