The main image above, “Our Town | Our Art,” won Gold in our Photography Annual 2017. It was created by Aliceblue, featuring Eric Lusher with Ad Agency Karnes Coffey with direction from Art Director Christine Coffey and Creative Director Jamie Mahoney for The Richmond Ballet. The city of Richmond had an annual Mural Project with the goal of reaching 100 murals in five years, which they met in 2016, to raise the city’s status as an art destination. Our winners wanted to highlight the fact that the world-renowned Richmond Ballet company was also very much a part of the art scene of the city. More of the series can be seen on our website.
