Created in September 2000, Life Church was organized by an Evangel Assembly of God in Milwaukee. Originally intended for the people of Germantown, now the church has two locations, the second location in the Western suburbs of Milwaukee. Their mission includes a dedication to lead people “upward, inward, and outward.”

In order to help promote their vision, Life Church asked advertising agency STIR for help. Founded in July 2000 by Brian Bennett, STIR was created for clients who want an integrated marketing experience that is more affordable and effective. They believe that it is crucial for clients to seek expert guidance with an agency that can identify the right strategic approach and execute it creatively. STIR is that agency.

As stated on their website, “We dig deep into the consumer psyche in search of an emotional response that helps determine what a brand must say to make a connection and engage consumers into action. By making this connection we capture their attention, change their perceptions and ultimately their behaviors.”

Bill Kresse, Partner and Executive Creative Director at STIR, headed the project with Life Church. Prior to STIR, Kresse was the Executive Creative Director at Laughlin/Constable, where he developed a variety of projects with Wisconsin Department of Tourism, Wisconsin Sesquicentennial, Miller Brewing Company, Sargento Foods, Coca-Cola, Associated Bank, the Milwaukee Bucks, Aurora Healthcare, United Way, and the Red Cross. Kresse’s more recent work proceeded his excellent reputation, especially his work with Life Church.

The advertisement for Life Church utilized stunning, desolate images to help translate the message that there’s always hope and someone there for you. The contemporary church was both impressed and satisfied with the finished product.
