Shine United and Young & Laramore Win Gold With Effective Food and Fashion Ad Campaigns!

The Advertising Annual 2021 competition is underway! If you’re looking for inspiration, look no further than these winning entries from last year’s competition.

In the Advertising Annual 2020, U.S ad agency Shine United won Gold for their above entry titled, “Transit Campaign.” This was outdoor advertising to increase awareness for a grocery company, Festival Foods, and their selection of fresh meats, deli products, and bakery items. In this 3-part series, colorful advertisements each corresponding with a type of food is displayed on a bus. Shine United’s video entry, “Butcher” won Platinum in the same competition. Their previous winning entries show off their skill in creating engaging advertising.

Also from the U.S, Young & Laramore’s above Gold-winning entry, “Goodwill Craft Your Look Campaign,” was developed for Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana. The purpose of the campaign was to make Goodwill look appealing to young women who wanted to “craft” a look. They tasked a couple of fashion designers to make fashion looks out of clothes that they found in Goodwill, and then staged a photoshoot with those outfits.

Young & Laramore partnered with a fashion magazine, Pattern, to publish the photoshoot. The ads increased visits and interest in Goodwill. Young & Laramore were also featured in Graphis Journal #363 due to them being consistent Gold and Silver winners in our design, advertising, and branding competitions.
