Poster: Switzerland’s Gold-Winning Designs & Latest Entries

Switzerland continues to produce inspiring, award-winning poster designs.

Poster design entries continue to come in for our Poster Annual 2020 competition and today we’re highlighting some of the fantastic work produced in Switzerland. In 2017, Gold-winner “Trampeltier of Love” (ABOVE, LEFT) by Matthias Hofmann of Hofmann.to design firm offered up a memorable poster that gracefully combined event information with a distinct graphic image. In our 2019 competition, “Biedermann Und Die Brandstifter (The Fire Raisers)” (ABOVE, RIGHT) by Stephan Bundi of Atelier Bundi AG design firm won Gold for its poster advertising Max Frisch’s play at Theater Orchester Biel Solothurn.

Another inspiring poster by Stephan Bundi was recently entered in the 2020 competition entitled, “Architektur, Abseits (Architecture, Offside)” (ABOVE, LEFT). The poster was created for a lecture series on “unusual architecture” and boasts an effective minimalistic design. On the other hand, Nadine Kamber’s poster, “Projekt: Carpe Diem” (ABOVE, RIGHT) for Junges Theater Biel, displays dynamic movement by blurring an image of an old-fashioned typewriter under a graphic replica of the keys themselves.
With so many styles and approaches to poster design, the possibilities are endless. We’re looking forward to seeing more posters from around the world as the competition continues!

Submit to the Poster Annual 2020 Competition by February 12, 2019! Winners will have the opportunity to see their work published on our website, blog, newsletter, and social media platforms!
