Architecture: Sean Perry and Tim Griffith

Calling all architectural photographers. Seeking beautiful shots of architecture for upcoming competition and book publication. Must desire full-page presentation of your work on high quality paper.

Back in 2006, Sean Perry received a Gold award for Transitory: Sea of Tranquility, Reciprocity and Pulse.

Transitory is a series of industrial landscapes and architecture images presented as metaphors of various struggles and relationships within modes of communication. Photographing under certain conditions of light and tone, I have rendered static structures as symbols displaying an unexpected beauty and graceful clarity, only briefly revealed.

Tim Griffith submitted Mission Bay, of the UC San Francisco Mission Bay campus, which he made look more like an illustration than a photo, a shot in love with perspectival lines of a Private Residence in Malibu by Richard Meier, and Webb, an abstraction of the Webb Bridge in Melbourne, and all received a full page and a Gold award in our Photography Annual 2007.
