Photo: Master Caroline Knopf & More from SC & NYC

The above entry, titled “Enchanted,” was submitted by Graphis Master Caroline Knopf of Sullivans Island, South Carolina. Knopf comes from a family of photographers, as her grandfather was a war photographer who documented the Japanese surrender at the end of World War ll. Her father and grandmother captured life through the camera as well. Her work has been selected by The Women’s Caucus For The Arts as an important storytelling tradition and voice as well as a dedication to Women’s empowerment through art. Furthermore, her work has appeared in gallery and museum shows in New York, Paris, and Japan.

Above is a Gold Award-winning photograph submitted to the Photography Annual 2016 by Mark Stetler of Brooklyn, NY. The portraits, shot for Charlie Magazine, were shot for their “Unity Issue” in response to the shooting and killing of nine people at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, SC.
There are only days left to submit to the Photography Annual 2018 competition. The earlier you enter, the greater your chances are to be featured on our blog, website, and social media platforms!
