New Graphis Master: The Richards Group, Featured in Graphis Journal Issue #360

The Richards Group is recognized as one of the largest independent ad agencies in America. 

The Richards Group was featured in Graphis Journal Issue #360, and we’re excited to say that the agency is one of our latest Graphis Masters as well. With Stan Richards at the helm, the agency has had much success over the years. Stan Richards has inspired many creatives, both who worked for him or who merely came into contact with his campaigns. He is passionate about continuing to produce great work, as well as giving back to the industry and the next generation of advertising creatives. As Michael Schillig (Creative Director of PPK) wrote, “…for all his accolades and fame, [Stan] remains a truly genuine and humble leader.”

To understand just how impactful the The Richards Group has been, we turn to the words of Stan Richards himself, in a Q&A interview in Graphis Journal Issue #360. When asked what his greatest professional achievement was, he responded:

“In 2014, the University of Texas at Austin named their nationally number-one-ranked undergraduate advertising program after me: the Stan Richards School of Advertising & Public Relations. And in 2017, I was inducted into the Advertising Hall of Fame. Those have all been remarkable achievements that I never could have imagined when I started this whole thing in the corner of my garage apartment. But I think the achievement of which I’m the most proud is that when people come to The Richards Group, they stay. As best we can determine, we have the highest retention rate of any agency in America. That says a great deal about what we’ve built here.”
