Since the 1980s, Rex Peteet has been in charge of branding, identity, and corporate visual communications for numerous companies and clients nationwide. He is co-founder of Sibley/Peteet Design in Dallas and Austin, Texas, and later founded his own studio in 2010, Studio Peteet Design. Many of his clients over the years have included Milton Bradley, Coca-Cola, Haggar Apparel, restaurants like Chili’s, the above Creative Circus, and countless others.

The below branding images are part of the University of Texas’ O’s Campus Cafe which won Gold in the Graphis Poster Annual 2010. Rex Peteet designed these posters for the grand opening of the cafe, along with designing the cafe’s brand identity. The posters and logo incorporate the ‘O’ of the cafe name and also maintain a light-hearted, colorful look that Peteet utilizes in his style.

His 30+ years of experience has led him to receive The Golden Egg in 2005, which is the highest accolade from the Dallas Society of Visual Communications, and an AIGA Fellow Award in 2015, later founding the AIGA Texas chapter. He is also part of the permanent collection of the Library of Congress and the New York Poster Museum.

He won Platinum in our Design Annual 2020, and Silver in Logo Design 7, a testament to his experience and skills in employing simplicity within his designs, creating memorable images that stick.
