Design Annual 2016 Spotlight Submission: New York

They claim to be the world’s most awarded blended Scotch whisky refreshed look. And with such a exquisite visual identity, under the capable hands of renowned design firm Stranger & Stranger, it’s not too incredulous of an assertion.

The Dewar’s (image above) line of whisky branding was submitted to the Design Annual 2016 competition, showing of a design that flaunts heritage, provenance and sophistication.

Stranger & Stranger is a packaging design and branding company that has specialized in alcoholic drinks, including wines, beers, spirits, and other alcoholic beverages, since 1994. They label up to about a billion units a year, boasting a slew of awards and growing clientele.

Stranger & Stranger is a consistent Graphis winner, who has won 2 Platinums, 1 Silver, and 5 Golds, including their Christmas Box no.15, a special package designed to announce the launch of a spirits range (image below).
