Advertising: Gold-Winning Work by Ogilvy & Mather and New Entry by Brunner Agency

The Advertising Annual 2020 is well underway and we’re receiving exciting campaigns from major agencies around the world. Last year, Ogilvy & Mather’s firm in Argentina won Gold for their submission, “Tedx – Ideas Change the World” (ABOVE). It was a captivating image of soldiers going through John Lennon’s head, only to emerge with protesters ready to confront the military. It certainly drives home the chosen slogan, “Ideas change this world. Spread them.”

One of our recent entries by Brunner agency, “Diversity Recruitment Campaign” (ABOVE) also had a strong slogan: “For every wall, there’s a ladder. Fires don’t care if Spanish is your first language.” By referencing the idea of a border wall, this campaign strongly communicates that the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation is looking for diverse populations to join their ranks as firefighters. Art Director Silver Cuellar and Creative Director Jeff Shill worked with Photographer Jonathan Banks to create a powerful image that grabs viewers’ attention.
