Advertising: Entries from David Corr & Others from the Beauty & Cosmetics Category

Our Advertising Competition has been extended until September 5th, 2017. We are eager to see submissions from old and new contributors alike. Above and below are entries from the Beauty & Cosmetics Category.

Graphis is pleased to present Platinum works from past Advertising Competitions and a submission from the present one. The featured image above is “As Nature Intended” by Publicis New York, formerly Publicis Kaplan Thaler, under Art Director Alessandra Melo, Executive Creative Director David Corr, and Chief Creative Officer Rob Feakins for our Advertising Annual 2014. Using the idea that tattooed skin was once spotless, the agency showed that yellowed teeth can also be whitened once more for Proctor & Gamble’s Crest 3D White Strips.

Also by Publicis New York for Proctor and Gamble’s Scope, “Kills Evil Breath” (left) won our prestigious Platinum Award in our Advertising Annual 2013 under Art Director Scott Davis. Two more images in the series are available on our website. To the right, we have a submission, “Cop Top,” from Van Winkle + Associates under Art Director Andi Denney and Creative Director Silver Cuellar for Great Clips. In order to promote free haircuts to men and women in law enforcement, they used pop culture icons of characters in the police force.
The Graphis Advertising Competition features some of the most compelling and influential design of the year from across the world. Gold and Platinum awards, along with winning entries, will be published in the Advertising Annual 2018. Submit your work to the competition here.
